SAR Integration Engineer - Senior

Description


Senior Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) Integration Engineer will be a part of a dynamic team that will drive development of programs/projects across the enterprise and determine integration/interface requirements. Applicant will be responsible for working with Software Developers, Solution Architects and Systems Engineer to deliver end-to-end mission solutions to operations.

  • Provide a total systems perspective including a technical understanding of relationships, dependencies and requirements of hardware/software components

  • Lead and/or participate in all aspects/phases of development of complex ground systems

  • Plans, coordinates, and documents solutions to total systems using internally created and/or commercially available of-the-shelf products and cloud-based technologies

  • Analyses, designs, tests and evaluates systems that handle Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) data through the TCPED process

  • Plans and coordinates data management practices to treat and handle SAR data as a resource

  • Work and integrate across SAR Platforms/data sources and associated systems

  • Work collaboratively with variety of customer including technical, managerial, financial and administrative to implement sustainable technical, organization and logistical strategies

  • Identify, review, and assess new and existing system architecture to come up with new CONOPS to reduce product delivery timeline and time to market

  • Apply contemporary technologies such as Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Mining, HPC, and AWS to engineering problems

Requirements


  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Poly

  • Bachelor's (or equivalent) in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, or related scientific or technical discipline with 8 - 10 yrs of experience, or a Master's with 6 - 8 yrs of experience.

  • Experience in government or industry integration systems that process SAR data

  • Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools and languages

  • Familiar with modern data science techniques, machine learning, and/or computer vision technologies

  • Prior experience, or current interest, with Cloud Services (AWS certification preferred)

  • Previous NRO, NGA and/or other relevant work experience

  • Previous IC or DoD program/project work experience

  • Experience with TCPED process

  • Experience in Agile & Scrum practices and implementations
